FIS Meeting

There will be a FIS general assembly tomorrow (22.02.2024). Every member of the Students' Council is invited.

QUALIS

QUALIS is our standardized lecture evaluation framework. However, since the questionnaire is currently shared across the whole university, some question make little sense in the context of the usual modus operandi of lectures in our department.
The department allowed us to fully customize the questionnaire. We are allowed to design alternative questions. The people from QUALIS will still be the ones conducting the surveys, but the questions can be ours.

Mona would like to form a taskforce of people that would be responsible for designing such an alternative questionnaire.

Mona and Anton will join this task force; people interested in it can write Mona.

Student Workrooms

The Student Workroom taskforce was a bit disappointed last time due to the recent department decisions that overturned some of our plans.

Anton visited Erich and found out that the table situation was a split-second decision and was made out of waste-reducing concerns. Erich also said that he visited all the working rooms and they will be completed one by one. We would be kept in the feedback loop.

We are really happy that Erich was so responsive to our feedback and for him making time to answer Anton's request. We will continue working together with the department on making the workrooms a nice space to work and study in.

First Aid Kit

We have a first aid Kit (main room, corner, grey box). We are allowed and supposed to give these items to hurt and/or injured people.
Unfortunately, Anton noticed that our box is not complete.

Anton and/or Manu will ask Natalia for the missing items.
Daniel will make an infographic that those kits exist.

E1.3 Greenery

Spring is about to happen soon-ish (surprise). Daniel proposes to add some greenery to the floor in E1.3 (which has no sunlight/windows) and is generally a bit gloomy. There might be a small once-a-week taskforce.

We vote if we would like to try getting some plants into the corridoor of E1.3 (yes: 4, no: 1, abstaining: 3):

Quiz Night

There will be a Quiz Night on the 8th. March in the Heimbar of the Student residence Rotenberg.

Game Night

Manu would like to host a Game Night sometime at the start of the new semester. It would be around the StEP time, but not exclusively for new students. Manu will, as always, send out a doodle to collect volunteers for the game night.
