Agenda
Student Council Members
Anton will not be in Saarbrücken from October 1st. He will remain a student council member, but some of his tasks need to be taken over by someone else. Lukas volunteered to write meeting minutes. Anton will discuss with Lizzie how the Mampfkasse should be continued.
Statement study programme master computer science Teaching
We were asked by the quality management to give a statement about a new master study programme about computer science teaching. So far the documents do not exist, but they will be send to us soon. Anton and Manuel volunteered to write a statement after getting feedback from the student council.
SE-Lab Support Event
Experience shows that the SE-Lab is very stressful for students. We plan to alleviate this a little by giving a support event to support the students short before a deadline. We plan to offer coffee, food, drinks, or snacks.
There are some concerns that groups use this event to discuss results, but as some groups are in the same room anyways, and people will talk to each other anyways, this should not be a bigger problem.
Lukas will talk to the SE chair about feasibility and their concerns about this.
We also host a game night earlier.
Cups
There is an ever-increasing amount of cups in our cupboard. Nobody knows where they come from etc. Anton suggests to clean out the unnecessary cups no one uses. Lukas agrees. Anton will give the cleaned out sample to the students council where people can take them home or put back into the cupboards. Afterwards they are free for all.
FSR Retreat
We want to host an internal event, (date tbd) where we can learn and improve knowledge about the students council. Lukas has set up a scheduling tool where people can enter events. We have done a short demo how this works.
We ask all the members to take a look over the doodle and potentially enter new task forces. Lukas will send a reminder around soonish.
Rental Contract
We updated the rental contract template, because the old one was rather general and not so useful.
The new contract is more specific and might contain a more comprehensive list about the Schwenker utilities.
Also the folder with contracts is messy, many contracts are not actually marked as fulfilled, e.g. some items might still be missing. It might be because people forget to actually label terminate the contracts.
In addition we want to make our rental calendar public (on the website).
Alex wants to host an event at the retreat, Kevin will actually enter this event into the scheduler.
Sponsoring Guidelines
There is a a hedgedoc explaining our sponsoring guidelines, e.g. the reasoning why we do sponsorings, what companies get etc. We are also interested in more permanent partnerships. Lukas asks for review of the list as this would be the basis for a formal contract template.
