Agenda

StEP FEedback

We will collect feedback from all the involved people and then have a detailed discussion about this. Keep an eye out for more information on this.

KIF

KIF is a conference where all Computer Science councils meet. This is different from the FSK meet. This time it is happening from 18th to 22nd June. KIF is taking place in Passau this year. We would like to ask who is interested in going this year on our behalf. AStA takes care of the travel costs essentially, while other costs need to be taken up by the attendees themselves. It is possible for more than 2 people to go there, but AStA officially covers the cost of two people going.

Note: KIF takes place in German, so fluency would be really helpful.

Anton has volunteered. Jonas has also volunteered. Jan-Philipp offers himself as a backup.

Yay for Anton going showed 8 in agreement and 1 abstained.
Jonas going garnered 8 in favour and 1 abstained.
Jan Philipp as backup also got 8 in favour and 1 abstained.

Julian has also volunteered to attend KIF.

Time to be Social - FSR goes hiking

So, we have many hiking options. We also have options of mode of travel - either by car or not.

If we have a car, we can go to more AMAZING places (So Anton says...)

We asked around who has a car. In total, we have accounted for 3 cars resulting in 11 seats. Anton says he can also try arranging for more.

Harry will sit in the boot (he himself suggested this)

We have a list of collected locations. And the age old tradition of voting begins.
Daniel worries about eating options. Luckily, Anton has come prepared. He presents us with information and options.

Jonas inquires about the start and stop points of all hiking points.
Clearly, this detail needs some time, So Anton works on it in the meantime.

[AN ETERNITY LATER....]

Anton worked on the list. Now the list includes details about the food options and other auxillary details as well.

Lizzie vouches for Saarpolygon. She says that it is also reachable via Saarlouis Hbf.

Anton proposes voting - cause why not. He will name each of the locations and everyone will raise the hands.

1. Kirkeler Tafeltour - 3 people like this.
2. St. Arnual Felsenpfad - 7 in favour
3. Small Fuji, Urwald vor den Toren der Stadt, Fischbachtal - 6 in favour
4. Saarpolygon - 5 in favour
5. Halde & Grube Göttelborn - 2 in favour
6. Landsweiler-Reden - 4 in favour

The following options are reachable by car:
7. Wilder Netzbachtalweg - 4 in favour
8. Burgruine Gräfenstein - 5 in favour
9. Teuflische Acht - 5 in favour

SIC Stickers

Well, we all know about the new stickers to be placed on the ID cards, which basically let you sit in Univeristy post the working hours. We tested the stickers in the wild.

The tests included -
1. Peeling the sticker off
2. Validating in the card machine.

So far, everything seems to be working well. We still haven't decided when we want to actually distribute these to students

Partnering

Lukas has started placing partner logos on our event advertisements and as well on the website. He also has created a transparency webpage for more information about this partnership. The page is available in english and german.

We have AnyNines as our partner so far.
Lukas now wishes to place their logo on our pinboard, along with a QR code leading to the transparency page. He also would like it to be included into the socials.

We discuss about how the logo should be placed on our socials.

FSR Breakfast

The breakfast was a success. We had a good turnout and everybody loved the soup.

Some feedbacks -
1. Daniel would like some informative sheets differentiating about bread and other breakfast items.
2. There were also concerns about halal items. We have vegan items but no halal cold cuts. There's suggestions about procuring things from turkish stores.
3. Seprate collection crates for bowls and cutlery.

Our current informative sheets show which meat product is being used. Whether or not we include halal or kosher items shall be internally discussed in the taskforce. But maybe we can for now indicate whether the food is halal or not. We would also need to have different cutting boards, knives even grill (in terms of the summer BBQ).

Currently, we have 3 grill options. One for vegan, one for pork and one for everything else. Further separation can be complicated, especially in terms of getting another grill. This shall be discussed in depth by the BBQ taskforce.

In terms of the toppings, we already provide cheese and cold cuts that are sliced in half.

Daniel is sad that music was lost at the breakfast. He suggests having a FSR playlist.
The ratio for the coffee was really well, ferdinand did a good job. Daniel wants to know his secret. On a side note, we ran out of Coffee grounds, so need to buy more of that.

It's time for the company run

We recieved an email from university about the upcoming run. It's a 5km run, with lots of people. It's free of cost and you even get a tshirt.

You can sign up as a group of 3 people. Write to Anton if you do or don't have a team. Please do this soon as the deadline for registration is 11th May.

He will create a group chat of interested people where you can also discuss training together.
