Agenda
Taskforce Distribution
+++ Intro +++
as the students' council, we distribute the workload in so called "taskforces".
We did a poll, who wants to do which TF.
+++ discussion +++
It makes most sense to distribute work fairly (i.e. have heavy work TFs staffed with more members).
According to the poll, most TFs are evenly distributed and heterogenous (some experienced + some new members for knowledge transfer)
++ conclusio ++
we're all fine how the poll came out :)

problems in Iran(no internet, no planes out of the country,...).
Students have difficulties in taking part in lectures and exams.
In the worst case (if the situation doesn't improve), they could fail the Fortschrittskontrolle.
We asked the examination board for relaxed regulations for students from Ukraine last time and a solution was found.
We shouldn't contact the exam board on their behalf, but without contacting the affected students before (since there is no way of contacting them at all).
For organisational matters, even if a date was missed by a short time, the possible retake might be in the next year/semester. From the past: medical issues have other special rules (i.e. retaking an exam even if there was no 3rd exam date); but this is not for discussion for us now: we will contact the examination board.
Härtefallantrag: would be a case-by-case decision.
Conclusion:
we contact the exam board and ask if they can 1. tell whats going on, 2. set up a rule to allow these students to get the progress check lifted and 3. to not make the exam attempts counted.
We can also send emails to other councils.
++ more discussion ++
For informing the respective students that they need to go to the exam board (personally) after problems are over, we can put up a post on the website / posters. Emails might likely work better (to be sure we reach everyone).
We could also set up a guide how to do it (technically just writing 1 email). Maybe it's possible to get back the semester fee.
1st semester students also pose a problem (might miss important welcome events like StEP), (we cannot help students, which are not even enrolled yet). (visa stuff, but this is very much out of our scope, other thank asking e.g. exam board if they know a solution)
problem 2: the registration for the next semester (Rückmeldung) already takes place.
solution: we contact the uni president
+++ conclusio +++
3 emails:
- exam board
- uni Administration office
- contact the FSK such that other councils know
and:
some way of communication
- posters
- emails to the students
we do a vote:
Do we want to write these emails
in favour: 11 (unanimously)
Learnboost AI
We got contacted by an organisation similar to notebook AI. It could be a nice, free service for us (council members).
This organisation would like us to advertise this (sometimes paid) service.
i.e. this is 100% ad, if they do not offer free service for all (CS) students.
We will ask them again
Next Events
FIS asks which events we would like to plan in this year (2026).
There is nothing planned yet, so we postpone this topic.
Protocols missing
please add protocols to the git from previous meetings.
In the rare case there was zero data, we could do a thought protocol.
This was likely just 1 meeting.
Telegram announcement channel
we have a telegram channel we use for meeting and event announcements. This was slightly abandoned previously, since the minutetakers are responsible for it.
Earlier, we decided to switch from Telegram to Signal (see meeting 2025-05-20 and 2025-02-24).
We just forgot to set up this channel on signal (and just migrated our internal communication).
The work would just be to migrate everything from telegram
WE VOTE
on openign a new signal group and close telegram
in favour: 11 (everyone)
graduation ceremony (last one and next ones)
We had a meeting with Felix, Sabine and Erich. We discussed the graduation ceremony on what to improve for the next ceremony (dates: 2026-03-20, 2026-10-23)
Results of the meeting:
registration deadline will be 2 weeks earlier.
this time it will be only 3 free accompanying persons.
5€ for the first 3 accompanying people.
more professors, more music, we change the brand of beer. guest lecturer: christoph endres(?). we need less helpers. only grads until who graduated end of january.
This was just for information and please block the dates in your calendar (so you could maybe help out (or participate if you have graduated)).
SIC merch
there was the idea of having merch from our faculty. But the FdsI needs help to distribute it.
15€ per t-shirt
complains on NNTI lecture
we are aware of problems, we are working on it.
We are in the process of gathering information and afterwards respond.
AStA stuff
label printer, aka Jeanetikettiergerät, broke and we need a new one. Since we already have spare label cardridges, it would be smart to buy the same type again.
we vote on buying it through AStA again
in favour: 9, abstain: 2, no: 0
Zammad Ticket Party
As we currently have many new members, a 2 stage system might be great (asking an experienced member on helping if the solution isn't obvious)
