Agenda

Students' Council Elections

Intro:
The Ältestenrat has decided that the recent students' council elections were technically invalid for multiple reasons. However, they also decided that only the CS students' council will have to be reelected at the beginning of next semester.

The question is: What do we want to do with the people that were technically elected during the now invalid elections?

Discussion:
Some of them have already helped out at the recent summer BBQ which is very promising. We have also already contacted all of the candidates in the past but we might want to also invite them to get to know them better and to get them acquainted with things.

Side note: We are fairly certain that no emails with election links were sent out during the elections. We will bring this up during the upcoming FSK.

Conclusion:
We will contact the respective candidates to already start working with them before the reelections.

Student statement regarding teaching of a habilitation candidate

We were asked to give a statement for someone who is currently a habilitation candidate.

One of us knows the person in question and will therefore be writing the requested statement.

Meeting with QM

Intro:
QM (Quality Management) wants to meet with us to get feedback regarding student life from the student's perspective.
We need some people that are willing to do this. Preferably both B.Sc. and M.Sc. Students in order to be more representative.

Side notes:
Apparently they sometimes merge time slots between faculties.
It would also be nice to talk about e.g. a website again to collect more feedback from students for things like this.

Conclusion:
We have some people that are able to go.

State of Online Support Task Force

We currently have way too many open tickets in Zammad that have to be handled somehow.

There was not much discussion on this topic but I think that we are currently simply lacking the capacities to properly handle Zammad (especially with exams coming now).
The respective task force definitely has to be much bigger in the future. It could also be helpful to try and have regular ticket parties to work through open tickets but it is unclear whether that would work out with people's availability.

We don't think that much can be done at the moment, even though this is an undesirable outcome.

Stapler in 107

Our stapler in room 107 is currently broken. We will replace it with a new one via the FIS.

Deans Lunch Topic List

The Deans Lunch will take place on the 22nd of July.

We went through the topics that have been collected to check for ones that we want to remove after all.

Social Events

We have some things left over since we had less breakfasts in the past few months than anticipated. Like we have done in the past, we could again offer some free coffee during the exam phase and for the SE lab.

We would be starting next week at the earliest. The breakfast task force can do a doodle to find some people that have time. This is intended to just be a very low effort event to make use of the things that we have left over.
