Summer BBQ 2026

Also this year, the joint summer festival of the student councils of the Computer Science and Mathematics departments is back! On 02. July, 2026, starting at 10:00 AM, you’ll find us on the lawn between the Günther-Hotz Lecture Hall and E2.5. As always, we will be firing up the Schwenker and offering a variety of grilled foods at low prices. We will also have several vegan and vegetarian options available. We are happy to announce that we will also have halal food options available! The Mathematics student council will provide soft drinks, beer and smoothies at fair prices. As last year, we also accept card payments during the BBQ! Additionally, we are delighted to offer a free cake buffet again this year. For the cakes, we are kindly supported by a donation from the FdSI. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks for this support! As always, you can also contribute to making this year’s summer festival a great success: For your help during running the event you will get tokens for food and drinks based on how long you can help us. Students’ Council Elections 2026

+++ initial technical difficulties have been resolved +++ Dear students of the computer science programmes, You now have until Thursday (2026-06-11, 4:00 p.m.) to vote for your new student council. The election will be held online again this year, so you can easily cast your vote from home. You can find the 22 candidates running for the next Students’ Council for Computer Science and their campaign profiles here: You can then cast your vote here: To log in, you’ll need to enter your ID (“abc00001@uni-saarland.de”) and your UdS password. You’ll then see your assigned ballots in the overview. You have a maximum of 15 votes per ballot for a student council, which you may distribute among the candidates as you wish (correspondingly to the 15 seats we have in our council).
